1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Kynode ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Nodemetrics ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Service Description

Kynode provides a Korean Business Verification API that allows developers to verify Korean business registration numbers through a RESTful API.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use this Service.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
  • Share or resell API access without authorization
  • Use the Service to spam or harass others
  • Scrape or download data in bulk without permission
  • Misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service

5. API Usage and Rate Limits

5.1 Rate Limits

Your use of the API is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier:

  • Free Tier: 10 requests per minute
  • Pay-as-you-go: 100 requests per second
  • Enterprise: Custom limits

5.2 Fair Use

You agree to use the Service in accordance with fair use principles. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for excessive or abusive use.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1 Pricing

Current pricing is available at kynode.dev/pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6.2 Payment Terms

  • Pay-as-you-go: Charged monthly in arrears
  • Payments processed through Stripe
  • Invoices sent via email
  • Late payments may result in service suspension

6.3 Refunds

API usage charges are non-refundable. For billing errors, contact us within 30 days atbilling@kynode.dev

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

8.1 Uptime

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.

8.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Rights

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Nodemetrics and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

9.2 Your Rights

You retain all rights to data you submit through the API. We claim no ownership over your data.

9.3 License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NODEMETRICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nodemetrics from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay amounts due
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse the Service

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will cease immediately
  • You remain responsible for any outstanding charges
  • We may delete your data after 30 days

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

15.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Seoul, Republic of Korea.

16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Nodemetrics regarding the Service.

16.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

16.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
